Amy Keatley

Technical Assistant

I am a graduate of the University of the West of Scotland with a 1st Class Commercial Music degree – which doesn’t sound like it would be a lot of help when it comes to financial planning!  But university gave me the life experience and business savvy to guide me into my current career, which started with training at my family’s Financial Planning business in 2010.  My father had already been a Financial Adviser for many years and mentored me through taking my Financial Planning exams, which I completed in 2012.  I took over the Investment and Pension advice from the beginning of 2013, but merged the business with Enable in December 2013 and joined them in an adviser support role.  Enable have welcomed my keenness to take a step back from advising to expand my knowledge of an advisory role from a different perspective, as my previous experience was a whirlwind!  I’m looking forward to seeing how the industry, and my place within it, unfolds in the coming years.

I love to sing and have done some vocal coaching in my time, but haven’t yet serenaded the office with my songs (don’t hold your breath!). My husband and I live in the lovely village of Puckeridge in Hertfordshire, where we enjoy beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside with our beloved dog Olli. I love to have a tinker on the piano every now and again, but more often than not DIY pulls me away. Such is having your first home to look after!
